Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. She was born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name can be spelled as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano in her basement and being fascinated at the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music for a love rather than a profession. In the end, she began to write her own music.
